Over the past years, the cry for help from Black African Women has been increasing and I believe there is still more to be done to ensure that every cry has been attended to.

I grew up in a society where even when you had a voice it was not loud enough to be heard. My desire is to ensure that the voice of a woman is heard, the voice of the ignored black woman.

I am passionate about empowering and educating women so that they have the ability to be the best person they have only dreamt about. This is why being part of the Women Today team is so important to me.

My educational background includes a BA in Theology and Religious studies from Canterbury Christ Church in Canterbury, Kent and I am pursuing a PHD in Global Development and African Studies.
